What customization techniques do you offer?
- We offer laser engraving, sandcarving, sublimation, screen print transfers, and UV/DTF transfers.
What is the difference between laser engraving and sandcarving?
- Laser engraving is a process that uses a laser beam to etch or engrave a design onto a material's surface. Sandcarving, on the other hand, uses a high-pressure stream of sand to cut or etch the design into the material. The difference between these two services is most obvious in glass. The laser creates the design by causing tiny fractures in the glass. This can cause the glass to continue to flake off and be inconsistent. It is also not recommended in glass or any other products that would need to be washed and used. Sand carving creates a smooth finish, free from flaking glass and is dishwasher safe.
